In marriage, all that matters at the end of each day, is your faith in God and your love for each other. What I strive for is the ability to end each and every day with the knowledge that I treated my husband with kindness and respect, and that he knew, without a doubt, that he was loved...
Today I start a 40 day journey toward a better marriage, I hope that some of you will come along on this journey, there is always something that we can learn from each other.

day 30 : love brings unity

Father, keep them in Your name, the name which You have given Me, that they may be one even as We are.

—John 17:11

TODAY’S DARE

Isolate one area of division in your marriage, and look on today as a fresh opportunity to pray about it. Ask the Lord to reveal anything in your own heart that is threatening oneness with your spouse. Pray that He would do the same for them. And if appropriate, discuss this matter openly, seeking God for unity.

Without God, I don't believe any marriage will succeed. I made that statement on the basis of my experience. You are definitely on the right track! Your partner must be very lucky.

Well, I don't know how lucky he is... ;o) But you're definitely right about no marriage succeeding without God (and a lot of hard work! lol)
