In marriage, all that matters at the end of each day, is your faith in God and your love for each other. What I strive for is the ability to end each and every day with the knowledge that I treated my husband with kindness and respect, and that he knew, without a doubt, that he was loved...
Today I start a 40 day journey toward a better marriage, I hope that some of you will come along on this journey, there is always something that we can learn from each other.

day 1 : love is patient

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

—Ephesians 4:2 NIV

TODAY’S DARE

The first part of this dare is fairly simple. Although love is communicated in a number of ways, our words often reflect the condition of our heart. For the next day, resolve to demonstrate patience and to say nothing negative to your spouse at all. If the temptation arises, choose not to say anything. It’s better to hold your tongue than to say something you’ll regret.

Ha! What timing is this? Thanks for doing this Sisterfriend. As we speak, I am trying veeeeeery hard to not say anything.

Although I will say this... I am usually quite good at this skill but as family drama continues I am finding it to be more difficult. Plus that, I'm just getting ornery with age ROFL.

I actually heard about this about a month ago from a friend of mine. I ordered a copy of the book and am waiting on it now. I am looking forward to starting it as well.

Hi everyone!
Just a note that I didn't really start this until today, although I posted it yesterday! Sorry about that! Hoping everyone is having a great day so far. The challenges won't be easy on some days, but I guess that's what this is all about, learning to step out of our comfort zone to make things better...
